About the Artist

Lisa is a 27+ year Instructional Technology Educator by profession, who’s first love is art!  In addition to her love of art, she also has an Undergraduate Degree in Fine Arts. She enjoys art of all kinds; drawing, painting, sculpture, photography and more!

As Lisa’s professional life evolved, the time she had to spend on her artwork dwindled. Searching for a creative outlet, in the Fall of 2003 Lisa took a stained glass making class. Some small projects, such as; framed invitations, sun catchers, and windows from patterns, soon became personal gifts to family and friends. As interest in her stained glass work grew, Lisa decided that this could be a fun way to make some extra money while spending quality time creating beautiful art.  So, in 2004, Lisa’s Glass Works was born!  Supplies were purchased and workspace was built at her home in Decatur, Georgia. Custom, originally designed, windows soon became the focus allowing Lisa to create one of a kind pieces from start to finish.

After moving to East Atlanta in 2015, the business took a few year hiatus until a new studio could be built.  With that studio becoming a reality in Fall of 2023, the business is officially back!
